Micah Alise Bledsoe is a broadcast, multimedia journalist and recent graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. Bledsoe served as the President of the ASU chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists from 2017-2019. She also worked as an intern with Your PHX CW6 and Cronkite News on Arizona PBS in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Washington. In 2015, Bledsoe was awarded the Rock Valley College Recognition Writing Award for an essay on the misunderstanding of technology. She completed her undergraduate degree in journalism and mass communication with a double minor in political science and women gender studies. Bledsoe recently finished her master’s degree in mass communication with a focus on gender and ethnic studies. Eventually, she would like to host her own television show and revolutionize the news landscape.
